Quality Assurance Analyst

We are looking for a QA analyst to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for testing work completed by the software development team finding and reporting bugs. This role will also include continuing development of QA processes and procedures. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. Applicants should be competent in executing test cases and passionate about quality. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications and systems work correctly before we release to our end users.

Your Role:

  • Working with the Software Engineers, Client Services team members, and Product Marketing team
  • Participate in sprint planning meetings, working in collaboration with Software Engineers, develop testing plans and scenarios for each story/ticket in the current sprint and document it in the Jira ticket
  • Make sure all stories are “done” and closed as per the plan developed
  • Prepare software releases and ensure the relevant tickets are included in the release. Complete the checklist for the release and ensure the release goes out as per plan
  • Own the QA process and show continuous improvement in the process and the quality of our releases
  • Develop metrics for the releases and release quality so we can measure success
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
  • Writing and executing automated and manual test scripts and reviewing results
  • Reporting and documenting technical issues
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams
  • Help troubleshoot issues in development
  • Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Technical support for our Client Services Team
  • Prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality assurance testing activities with client services team
  • One week onsite with our Client Services Team during an active implementation to learn the product and how it is used


  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Working knowledge of automated testing software (we currently utilize Cypress for automated testing scripts)
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

Preferred Experience (not required):

  • Knowledge of AWS
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
  • Experience in project management and QA methodology
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
  • Familiarity with Linux operating system
  • Familiarity with SQL
  • Knowledge of health care domain


  • A four-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • Experience will be considered in lieu of degree
